Celebrating 20 Years of VolunteeringPlease lend a helping hand, Volunteer
The Children’s Supper Hour provides warm meals, love, and safety to the neighborhood children on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons. All children are made to feel welcome and special. Because we operate right after school, our program provides a great opportunity for area students to meet their community service commitments. We have had local youth groups as well as youth groups from more than 5 states, primarily in the Midwest, participate in our program. These young people are learning, from our example, ways to dedicate their lives in service to others. For more information on opportunities for groups to participate in our program click here. If your schedule or distance does not permit you to volunteer your time to our program, you can still be involved in helping our children. You can sign up for our Prayer Program and be given the name of one of our neighborhood children to include in your daily devotions. If you would like to find out more information on volunteering for our program, please contact Vicki. To protect our children we ask all volunteers to complete a volunteer application. For your convenience, you can download the application from this website.
